Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle division just continues to go from strength to strength. The results from the latest sales data shows another 5.0% increase in global demand.
This increase is in relation to Volkswagen sales in June 2017. This is with just a touch under 250,000 VW commercial vehicles being delivered to customers.
Three out of the four Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in the current range has seen their sales rise thus far this year.
Crafter were the only vehicle that had a decline in sales, with this mostly being due to the fact customers are now waiting for the all-new model to arrive. With reason seeing as the new Volkswagen Crafter comes with some big accolades. Due to the fact it was recently named 2017 Van of the Year and was previously crowned the 2017 International Van of The Year.
The data collected shows sales were up in June in the company’s home market, Germany, by 2.8%.
The brand also had impressive growth in other European countries such as France (+12.2%), Spain (8.5%) and Italy (15.5%)
More amazingly Mexico was also up by an impressive 55.0% and across the region, the Asia- Pacific, VW Commercial Vehicles enjoyed a healthy 12.9% jump.
VFACTS data shows in Australia, June had a strong increase for Amarok 4×2 (+4.3%) and 4×4 (+11.0%).
While Caddy sales had an impressive increase of 30.8% and a rise of 17.2% for Caddy Vans.
Both Crafter and Multivan sales were flat in June. But the transporter had an incline in deliveries rising by 6.4% with exactly 300 vehicles handed over to Aussie customers in June.
